The position supports outcomes assessment, program reviews, QEP assessment, and institutional surveys. Management may direct employees to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.ESSENTIALDUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinates outcomes assessment activities in all areas (educational programs, general education, student and academic support, and administrative support).
  • Conducts workshops and consultations for faculty and staff in developing and implementing outcomes assessment.
  • Collects, reviews, and organizes assessment documents to ensure compliance with accreditation standards related to institutional effectiveness.
  • Tracks the assessment progress and follows up with faculty and staff to ensure timely completion as well as use of results for continuous improvement.
  • Keeps current with accreditation standards related to institutional effectiveness.
  • Administers course evaluations and provides technical support for users.
  • Coordinates and supports program review efforts by providing guidance and consultations, ensuring quality and timely completion, assisting with data needed, and collecting, reviewing, and distributing reports.
  • Administers institutional surveys and provides consultations and technical support for users.
  • Extracts QEP summary results and provides technical support for the data collection portal.
  • Develops and implements strategies to promote assessment culture of the college.
  • Represents the Office of Institutional Effectiveness on college committees as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • EDUCATIONREQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATION
    • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, or a combination of relevant experience, education and training that equates to the required degree.
    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS,& ABILITIES
    • Knowledge of and experience in outcomes assessment and academic program review processes.
    • Knowledge of accreditation standards as related to institutional effectiveness.
    • Experience with course evaluation administration.
    • Knowledge of and experience with survey design, deployment, and reporting.
    • Demonstrated experience in using one or more of the following: outcomes assessment software, course evaluation software, and survey software.
    • Experience working with faculty and staff in individual and group settings.
    • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Highly organized, independent, analytical, and able to work productively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proven competence in managing multiple tasks and setting priorities.
    • Outstanding interpersonal, written and oral communications skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to perform duties with a high level of professionalism, flexibility, discretion, diplomacy and tact.
    • Ability to self-motivate, self-pace, and work autonomously.
    • Ability to serve as an effective team member.
