The Office of Intercultural and Student Affairs seeks to provide a full range of engaging support and growth opportunities for every student that arrives at this university to maximize his/her success. We will create ongoing, progressive, and innovative intercultural learning experiences for all our students through this new opportunity of immerging cultures and people from around the globe. This position reports to the Director of Intercultural and International Students and assists in coordinating all initiatives and programs under Intercultural Affairs including by not limited to; the LGBTQ+ Office, International Students Office, the Center for African American Students Office, and Black United Students
Location MU - Marshall University Salary Range $39,500 - $51,400; Salary may be increased based off education, experience, and internal equity. Salary Grade

Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
Experience
1-3 years of experience with the coordination, planning, and facilitation of international student services, social justice educational programming on topics related to intersectionality, power, privilege, and oppression across multiple identities (i.e.: race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, class, disability, etc.) High level of cultural competence and values in alignment with the work of making Marshall University inclusive, diverse, equitable, accessible, and socially just.
Preferred Qualifications
Education
Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
Experience
3-5 years of experience with the coordination, planning, and facilitation of international student services, social justice educational programming on topics related to intersectionality, power, privilege, and oppression across multiple identities (i.e.: race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, class, disability, etc.) High level of cultural competence and values in alignment with the work of making Marshall University inclusive, diverse, equitable, accessible, and socially just.
