The Coordinator of Leisure Services is responsible for the administration, supervision, fiscal management, and implementation of activities, leisure, and recreation programs for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
What you will do:
Empower people to live their best life by providing high-quality services in our Leisure Department.
* Adhere to Arc Core Values of Respect, Collaboration, and Empowerment
* Provide quality services and customer satisfaction while ensuring health and safety for participants, staff, interns, and volunteers involved in programs
* Responsible for overall program coordination, development, planning, and implementation of high-quality recreation, leisure, and volunteer projects that invoke meaningful participation
* Assist with preparing funding applications, quarterly/year-end reports, and program budgets
* Collaborate and consult with Behavior Specialists to implement positive strategies to ensure participants are successfully involved and engaged in programs
* Assist with onboarding and retention of new staff, interns, and volunteers
* Promote Leisure programs and recruit individuals with disabilities, volunteers, and community members
* Develop and implement individualized support plans, goals, and outcomes in accordance to external funders and St. Louis Arc's requirements
* Develop, collaborate, and maintain relationships with local Parks and Recreation Departments, YMCA/YWCA, community centers and colleges, volunteer organizations, professional networks, and vendors.
* Evaluate, analyze, and enhance overall program quality and experience
* Demonstrate and support all St. Louis Arc Diversity and Inclusion practices and initiatives

Your work hours will include Monday-Friday hours with some evenings and weekends based on program needs.
Applicants should also expect:
* Participation in an on-call rotation required
* Travel throughout the St. Louis Metro area based on program needs
What we expect of you:
The flexible, respectful individual we see in this position is an innovative and quick thinker with these qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Recreation & Leisure Studies or similar program
* CRTS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) Preferred
* One to three years of experience in supervising and implementing recreational programs
* Valid Driver's License and current Auto Insurance
* Willingness and ability to complete agency-provided training including CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration Level 1, Mandt, and other online and classroom-based training
