The Morgan Library & Museum, a museum and independent research library in midtown Manhattan, invites applications for the position of Coordinator of Public Programs (“Coordinator”). This position reports to the Public Programs Manager and supports the implementation of a range of programsacross the Education & Public Programs Department, including the Morgan's onsite, virtual, and partnership programs; lectures; workshops; tours; live arts; symposia; and social programs for adult and college audiences. The Coordinator must exercise superb attention to detail in order to manage theday-to-day administrative functions of public programs including reporting, scheduling, processing payment, and liaising with departments across the institution to coordinate event and program logistics. The ideal candidate has an understanding of the importance of administrative systems and a passion for providing arts and letters access to adult and college audiences. This is a Tuesday through Saturday position with some evenings (approximately 3–4 per month) and occasional Sundays required.
