Role SummaryManages staff and provides guidance for the day-to-day operations of a facility based on established policies and procedures for non Mechanical Services Groups
- Lead and direct activities related to maintenance operations of residence halls and apartments
- Provide supervision guidance, development and training for staff
- Identify and develop cost saving initiatives
- Plan and implement short and long term goals
- Knowledge of HVAC equipment, residential and commercial, plumbing systems, electrical systems, construction processes.
- Knowledge of Metasys, or other BMS
Examples of Work Performed - Daily, weekly, monthly inspections of equipment and services within the campus housing.
- Weekly monitoring of work order requests and completion.
- Researching and recommending parts to support critical equipment and systems.
- Cultivating and sustaining partnerships with campus and external partners.
- Directs the maintenance staff providing indirect supervision and training.
Essential FunctionsThese essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring department.
Manages staff and provides guidance for maintenance on facilities. Ensures staff and facilities users adhere to organizational policies and procedures. Collaborate with leadership on the budgeting for facilities needs. Minimum Education/ExperienceEducation: Bachelor's Degree
