This position is responsible for assisting students, departments, and campus offices in planning, coordinating, and executing successful events. Specifically, the coordinating of events for student organization regular meetings, special events, intramural, recreation, and student activities.Essential Job Duties 1. Assist with student program and event planning.2. Manage building and room reservations, event reservations and client communication via email, phone, and walk-ins.3. Assist with managing all events and activities, including set-up and break down.4. Coordinate with Facilities & Maintenance to ensure room preparation and cleaning.5. Conduct regular inventory of equipment, tables, chairs, etc.6. Support Student Life & Development staff with programs and administrative and operational projects, as well as other duties that may be assigned.7. Attend activities and event planning meetings.8. Participate in an all-staff training.9. Participate in staff development and advancement opportunities throughout the academic year are required.10. Perform other duties as assignedQualifications (Education, Experience and Specialized Training)
