Job Description

Under the direction of the Assistant Provost of Academic & Student Affairs and working closely with Enrollment and Student Engagement, the Registrar, Deans, Division Chairs, academic programs, and partner institutions, the Coordinator of Transfer Pathways and Articulation oversees the ongoing development of articulation agreements and pathways with a variety of partner institutions.

Salary information: The expected rate of pay for this position is $47,000-$52,000 annually.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Initiate the development and implementation of articulation agreements with community colleges and high schools.

* Serve as the primary liaison for articulation agreements with partner institutions and maintain a clear and comprehensive articulation agreement process.

* Conduct regular review and revision of established articulation agreements to keep them up to date.

* Work closely with academic units to develop academic pathways based on established articulation agreements.

* Conduct regular review and revision of established pathways to keep them up to date.

* Participate in special projects and initiatives directly related to transfer articulation, such as reverse transfer, and dual admit/dual enrollment.

* Visits community colleges within a 250-mile radius as assigned.

* Engage individuals and organizations inside and outside the college.

* Represent the Provost's Office on college-wide committees as assigned.

* Gathers, extracts, summarizes, compiles, and prepares data for required reporting.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree (equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substitute as appropriate).

* Three years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

* Possess a Master's degree.

* Two years experience in program coordination or administration.

* Knowledge of articulation and reverse transfer agreements and partnerships.

* Knowledge of dual admit / dual enrollment programs.

* Experience in an educational setting, including university transfer preparation or curriculum design and development.

Other Requirements

* Ability to work across campus units with provosts, deans, faculty, admissions teams, and others from partner institutions.

* Demonstrated ability to adapt effectively and quickly to changing policies and requirements.

* Possesses proven ability to streamline complex processes and systems.

* Exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Demonstrates strong technology proficiency, especially with student information systems like Degree Works and MS Office 365.

* Possesses ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work independently.

* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the institution and with external partners.

* Position requires occasional travel and work beyond normal office hours.

* Ability to maintain confidentiality.
