Visit us online at www.rhsheppard.com/careersJOB DESCRIPTION:Position Summary:The primary responsibility of this position is to interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve issues. Incumbent is responsible for servicing existing accounts as well as new target opportunities while working under moderate supervision.Essential Duties:Process EDI schedules and changes as neededRespond to customer expedite reports, and open order reports on a regular basisPrepare quotations as neededProcess and prepare all purchase orders and changes as needed.Work closely with Order Service Manager to develop and implement target account specific objectives, strategies, and action plansMaintain records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions takenMonitor customer satisfaction and communicate this information to managementReview orders to determine product types and quantities required to meet demandResolve customers' service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, and adjusting billsCompare disputed merchandise with original requisitions and information from invoices, and prepare invoices for returned goodsOther duties as assignedQualifications:PC Skills, i.e. Excel, Word and PowerPointSelf-motivated and self-disciplinedAnalytical and problem solving skillsAbility to work well under pressureCommunication and presentation skillsAbility to stand, stoop, bend, walk, reach frequently throughout the workdayValid driver's licenseKnowledge of MFG production and company productsAbility to travel very minimalRequired Experience:H.S. Diploma or equivalentTwo years experience working in a Order Services departmentWorking Conditions/Physical Requirements:General office, shop and machine tool noise, dirt, grease, heat and fumes from the operation of machines and equipment infrequently. Normal working position is sitting, standing and walking through out the plant, reaching with hands and arms, climbing stairs infrequently, talk, hear.
