Position Title: Coordinator, Projects and Initiatives

Position Summary:
The Coordinator, Projects and Initiatives is responsible for providing executive organizational support to the President & CEO, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Administrative Officer.
Essential Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the President & CEO, Coordinator will provide executive organizational support to the President & CEO, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Administrative Officer.
- Manage organizational projects while working across all MFA departments as appropriate to ensure that project delivery expectations are met/exceeded.
- Prepare correspondence, proof documents and presentations (i.e., letters to regulators, analysis and strategy presentations) on behalf of President & CEO as directed.
- Support the President & CEO's forward (1-3 months) calendar activities; support the planning and execution of key meetings as directed, with focus on appropriate background material and meeting content.
- Observe, identify and recommend areas of opportunity to provide additional leverage and efficiencies for the President & CEO.
- Acquire and maintain an understanding of MFA policy priorities and related activities. Perform other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience with project coordination, writing, analysis and/or research.
- Experience working directly with senior level executives is preferred.
- Experience within a financial services or policy organization is plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented culture that values the importance of being a good teammate, communicator, and partner.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to self-start, think ahead, problem solve, and engage proactively with high professionalism, reliability, and accountability.
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Occasional domestic business travel is required.
