POSITION SUMMARY: NAFA Fleet Management Association seeks a Regional Engagement Coordinator to join its fully remote team. In the role of Regional Engagement Coordinator, your responsibilities will involve contributing to the development of localized programing, both in-person and virtual, tailored to the diverse needs of NAFA's constituents throughout the United States and Canada. You will also play a crucial part, ensuring the success of NAFA's regional (local) events, volunteer development, meeting planning, and sponsorship management. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Within the limits of NAFA's bylaws and policies, the regional engagement coordinator is responsible for the following. Event Support: Support the Regional Engagement Manager and the membership team in the development and implementation of local programs and activities. Volunteer management: Oversee coordination of regional council and local networking group meetings both virtual and in person.Also participate in the development/recruitment of new leaders to the regional councils and local networking group planning boards. Customer service: Provides appropriate, timely responses to all inquiries about general information, pricing, procedures, policies, etc. Identifies, supports, and encourages member and non-member certification and certificate prospects throughout the customer experience. Oversees proactive (triggered) customer communication including (not limited to) acknowledging, reviewing, and processing purchases, applications, enrollment, progress updates, completion, and (when applicable) maintenance. Monitors general email inbox. Data management: Responsible for the accurate management, maintenance of event and member data, within association management system (currently MemberSuite) and other systems as appropriate. Monitor events, meetings, and volunteer data, providing regular weekly and monthly updates/reports of routine statistics (e.g., KPIs and OKRs). Identifies opportunities for increased relevance, growth, and efficiency. Marketing & communications: Participates in the development and collaboration on (with Marketing and Membership departments) marketing and communications plans for regional activities. Community management: Manage public and/or private online communities for regional groups. Additional requirements: Travel to attend overnight staff meetings, regional meetings, and events as requested or required (estimated 5-6 times per year). While rare, work above and beyond a 37.5-hour work week may be required a few times per year seasonally, to fulfill the responsibilities and duties of the position, including some weekend work. Perform other duties as assigned. This position is exempt under the guidelines of FLSA. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. A bachelor's degree or equivalent competency. Minimum of 1+ years of experience in membership associations, or equivalent knowledge of member service and event management Volunteer management experience. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers. Intermediate to high degree of computer literacy, excellent data entry skills, and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc.). Able to independently move about conferences and conventions. Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Able to travel domestically and internationally by air and ground. Able to write articles and reports for external audiences that conform to prescribed style and format.? Able to effectively present information to management, member/customer groups, and/or committees. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with automotive fleet/mobility industry would be an asset. Experience with platforms, such as Zoom, Higher Logic, and member databases.
