Description
Summary: This position is responsible for monitoring, adjusting and coordinating the allocation of internal and external staffing resources to nursing units and departments across the CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini in support of payroll management, to provide high quality patient care and cost-effective clinical services.
Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Formal training as a Medical Assistant, Unit Clerk or in another healthcare-related field of study is highly preferred.
- Must have intermediate computer word processing and data entry literacy.
- Must be able to create balanced daily staffing based on census/established staffing grids as a guide.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Must be able to function well in a fast-paced environment under dynamic conditions to assure balanced daily staffing.
- Must be able to deal with professional and administrative staff to resolve any conflicts that might arise and advise others regarding policies, procedures, and regulations of the patient care services department and Santa Rosa region Must demonstrate a consistently high degree of accuracy in the accomplishment of daily activities, adherence to policies, and evaluation of results.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a similar role in a staffing office or related health care setting is required.
- Certification in a healthcare-related field preferred.
Work Schedule: 7AM-7PM
Work Type: Per Diem As Needed
