This position provides personal, educational, and careeradvising to students. In addition, the Coordinator provides operational support for programs administered through Advising and Student Success Services; including but not limited to, the Office of Student Success Services, the Office of Student Accessibility Services, Transition Programs (Project ACCESS), Game Changer Scholar Programs, Internship and Career Planning, and early alert management. Work is performed under the administrative direction of the Associate Dean, Student Success Services. Examples of Duties 1. Perform a variety of office management functions and administrative duties requiring an extensive working knowledge of the organization and programs of the College.2. Facilitate communication between students, faculty, staff, and administrators concerning student success and the Game Changer Scholar Programs.3. Assist the Assistant Director, Student Success Services in serving as liaison between the College and the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, Monroe County School District, and other community agencies.4. Assist with the recruitment, application process, enrollment, and retention of students in the Project ACCESS program and the Game Changer Scholar programs.5. Collaborate with Assistant Director, Student Success Services and Advising Services to ensure students in the Game Changer Scholar Program and Project ACCESS are successful, hold weekly check-in meetings with program participants.6. Meet with the public, faculty, staff, and students, handle all incoming calls, applications, and documentation for the College's programs within the Office of Student Success Services.7. Maintain relevant documentation to monitor and assess student success goals; including, but not limited to, Career and Internship Planning, Game Changer Program, and Project ACCESS.8. Collaborate with local employers and academic personnel to develop internship opportunities and/or job placement pathways for students; maintain information regarding placements through the management of Handshake.9. Provide support to Accommodation services for students as needed.10. Provide informational materials to College visitors and students, including appropriate contact information.11. Keep abreast of the College's academic programs, support services and admissions/enrollment policies, including available resources.12. Work collaboratively with the Coordinator, Student Support Services to ensure constant coverage of the front desk; maintain coverage calendar.13. Participate in staff and committee work.14. Attend trainings, events, meetings, and conferences, as required.15. Assist in College recruitment and retention efforts, as appropriate.16. Participate constructively with community agencies and groups, as appropriate.17. Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
