Position Primary Purpose and General Responsibilities:University Slotting 35221N/Specialist SS 1, State Role Code 29133; The VCU Transform Living-Learning Program's mission is to equip students to be leaders and change makers in their community by fostering their integrative learning through classroom instruction, reflection, and real-world application in order to strengthen each student's leadership development, efficacy, and success.The Coordinator for VCU Transform has responsibility for developing experiential learning opportunities to support a student's pathway experience.The Coordinator will supervise the undergraduate student interns in the Transform community.The Coordinator will assist in helping students in the program deepen their understanding of engagement through co-curricular leadership, service, and community programming both on and off-campus.The Coordinator will create and track events in RamsConnect to help students complete their program requirements.The Coordinator will create resources and assist in tracking forms and data for student completion of experiential learning pathway.For qualified candidates, the Coordinator will teach LLP courses as needed.The Coordinator will assist in assessing program learning outcomes and will report findings to the team.This position will support the marketing, recruitment, and selection of students into the Transform LLP, including regular social media posting.The position will ensure successful collaboration with other units with the Division of Student Affairs and the wide university and Richmond community.The position requires some work outside of normal business hours including nights and weekends. QualificationsMinimum Hiring Standards:Master's degree in higher education, leadership, social sciences, related field, or equivalent experience.Experience with management of leadership development programs, student programming, or living learning programs.Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
