Job description Summerset Marine Construction has been a leading provider of lakefront services in Wisconsin since 1990. As the largest pier and lift dealer in Wisconsin, Summerset offers a comprehensive range of services to meet the unique needs of lakefront property owners. We specialize in designing, installing, and supporting custom pier and boat lift systems. Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager to join our team. This role requires a strong background in construction project management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of waterfront construction practices. As a Construction Project Manager, you will oversee all phases of our pier and boat lift projects, from initial design through completion, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and supervise construction teams, providing guidance and support to ensure projects meet Summerset Marine's quality standards.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, addressing any concerns and providing regular updates on project progress.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate and manage resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel, to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve project-related issues, implementing corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
  • Service Support: Be available to address customer service needs, including after-installation support and maintenance inquiries.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in construction project management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and heavy equipment.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
