Summary The Copywriter is responsible for writing clear and concise copy for various print and digital mediums, ensuring that copy engages and informs the target audience as it aligns with our marketing strategy and business goals.   • Create copy across all channel touch-points that engages and connects with Buckle Guests. Including but not limited to: brand, evergreen, and seasonal campaigns, Buckle Credit Card and Guest Loyalty marketing, social media, editorial and public relations, buckle.com, email content, and in-store signage.
  • Collaborate across departments to create, edit, and/or proofread internal and external content.
  • Maintain Buckle's brand standards and voice, ensuring consistent communication and execution across all marketing touch-points.
  • Develop creative copy ideation through original concepts and out-of-the-box thinking that will inform, excite, and engage our guests.
  • Evaluate, review/edit, and proofread content.
  • Apply best practices of search engine marketing to digital content.
  • Produce high-quality, error-free content that adheres to company style guide.
  • In-depth research and collaboration on a topic to tell a story and/or inform the audience.
  • Fulfill mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of customer service while contributing to a positive team spirit.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in English, Journalism, Communications or related field and a minimum of five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven experience as a copywriter in the fashion or apparel industry is strongly preferred.
