Department: Assembly
Reports to: Production Supervisor – Assembly
Position Responsibilities: - Assemble and pack cord grips:
- Receive all components for each Job Traveler.
- Assemble components and pack product.
- Pull finished goods from inventory if required
- Verify counts
- Print and apply correct labels
- Deliver product to Shipping Department (If required)
- Report finished job in MES.
- Ensure assembly operation is performed according to all documentation including the Job Traveler, Bill of Materials, and Special Instructions (if applicable)
- Ensure correct components are used in the assembly operation according to the Job Traveler or Bill of Materials
- Inspect assembled cord grips to ensure compliance with Remke Quality standards.
- Complete applicable Job Traveler documentation as required.
- Maintain work area in a clean and neat manner ensuring all tools, fixtures, materials, and other supplies are cleaned and put away at the end of every shift.
- Know, understand, and comply with Remke Quality Policy and its objectives.
- Know, understand. and comply with all Remke Safety Rules and guidelines
- Collaborate as part of a team.
- Train other employees as requested.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Group Lead Assembly, Supervisor, or Production Manager.
Quality Position Requirements: - At least 1-3 years' experience in a similar role
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, speak, and write English.
- Ability to read and understand all documentation including Job Travelers, Bill of Materials, and Special Instructions

BODY SENSES: Must have command of all five senses – sight, hearing, touch, and perception. Specific vision abilities required include close vision depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. STRENGTH: Must have the ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds with regularity.
Work Environment: This position works indoors in a smoke free environment.
Measures of Performance: The Position Responsibilities are the basis of measuring the performance of the individual holding the position of Cord Grip Assembler/Packer. The individual will be evaluated on his/her merits of success on to each of the points stated in describing the duties of this position. Salary: $28,800 to $43,300
