We are seeking a passionate and experienced Illustrator to teach Comics Studio, a dynamic after-school program course designed to inspire students of all skill levels to explore the art of comic creation. This course will be more than traditional comics and include storyboards, as well as creative writing. The ideal candidate will combine artistic expertise with a love for storytelling and education, fostering creativity and technical skills in a supportive and engaging environment. This position is a part of the Cornish+ In the Schools program and the candidate will be expected to teach on and off-campus, including onsite at schools or organizations around the Seattle area. Depending on the instructor's schedule, this position could potentially be teaching one to three courses a week. While this position is beginning this winter, we are searching for multiple illustrating teaching artists to join our “pool” of instructors to expand our Cornish+ In the Schools program.

Job Type: Part-Time schedule: hours ranging from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm during the week.
Compensation: $1,050 to $3,150, depending on the number of sectionals; calculated at $105.00/hour.
Location: Must be available for in-person sessions at the college's Seattle-area campus or partnering community spaces.
