LocationBrooklyn, New YorkShift:Evening (United States of America)Description:Coronary Care Unit Nursing Assistant F/T EveningsIn this role, the Nursing Assistant provides assistance and support to the Registered Nurse in addressing basic nursing care to all patients.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Assist Registered Nurses in all aspects of patient flow while maintaining a high quality of patient care in a compassionate and humane manner.This includes, but is not limited to feeding, bathing, ambulating, cleaning of patients, and providing other orders from the supervisor on duty, Nurse Manager, and/or Assistant Nurse Manager.This is a full-time evening shift (3:30pm-midnight) at Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.REQUIREMENTS:High School Diploma or Equivalency required.Certification from an approved, accredited Nurse Assistant training program is required.Experience with the Cardiac division is preferred.Basic computer skills required.Current BLS Training from the American Heart Association is required.New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital is an equal opportunity employer.Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
