Maintain overall responsibility for all assigned corporate accounts. Profitably grow Univar's market share at existing corporate accounts using a consultative, value selling process. Develop strategic initiatives and implement these strategies to gain new business opportunities within the corporate account base.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

* Improve Univar USA's position within each corporate account using consultative, value selling at all levels within the account

* Responsible for crafting and completing short, medium and long-term customer growth strategies

* Responsible for identifying and evaluating new business opportunities including international chemical distribution and waste management

* Responsible for setting pricing, as well as maintaining and coordinating customer quotations

* Responsible for coordinating at all levels within Univar including; senior leadership, local sales, purchasing and operations

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

* Minimum of 5 years of field sales experience in the chemical industry

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

* A background of driving growth by developing and carrying out central initiatives within a customer base

* A wide knowledge and established network within the chemical distribution industry

* Strong presentational skills and experience in making formal presentations to groups at all levels within an organization

* Strong skills in team building, mentoring, and collaboration with all levels of the organization

* Strong skills in financial management and analysis

* High level of decision-making ability, balancing customer needs, and company objectives

* Strong organization and prioritization skills with the ability to handle diverse and significant objectives

* Confident in learning, understanding and using a consultative, value selling approach

* Proven track record to efficiently use Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Salesforce.com

* Ability to analyze significant amounts of information and find opportunities within customer and economic trends

WHERE YOU'LL WORK:

Preference is for candidates located in the Philadelphia or Chicago area. But open to those who live in Eastern or Central time zones.
