We are seeking a Corporate Accounting Assistant to provide administrative support to the Controller and Corporate Office Staff.At the Proctor Dealerships, we strive to make every customer a customer for life. Responsibilities
  • Assists/backs up Corporate Office staff with daily deposit processing for Honda, Acura, and/or Subaru as needed
  • Assists Corporate Office staff with processing of payable invoice posting as needed
  • Prepare paperwork for check scanning
  • Checks scanning daily
  • Assists in creating files
  • Filing daily
  • Assists AP/AR Administrator monthly statement reconciliation with check processing
  • Assists in credit card statements, check process and EFT process
  • Assist AP/AR Administrator with W-9 sending to new vendors as well as adding the W-9 information in DMS and preparing information for scanning
  • Assist AP/AR Administrator with monitoring outstanding purchase orders in DMS
  • Annual sales tax letter process (contact vendors to request current Resale Certificates) and send Proctor Resale Certificates out as requested by vendors
Qualifications
  • Computer literate, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office products
  • Operation of office machines such as computers, calculator and copier
  • Available to work Monday-Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Professional personal appearance
  • Clean driving record
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSValid Driver's License and clean DMV report.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
