Job SummaryJob DescriptionOversee and support corporate accounts functions of the Lab sales team based on short-term and long-term objectives in the
Northeast Territory. Implementsales strategies and achieve revenue targets and service goals for accounts.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for growing our Lab distribution footprint within the Acute Care division through the development of sales plans, strategies, objectives, policies and procedures aligned to broad corporate sales and marketing objectives.
- Work closely with the PO VPs, Field Sales Team and PO reps in targeting corporate deals as well as large product conversions in both lab supplies and general medsurg items.
- Own formal RFP process for Lab Sales and partner with Corporate Sales, Market Sales Directors, and IDN Directors to sign new Lab Prime Vendor distribution deals.
- Work in collaboration with the Lab Reps, Acute Care Reps and DRIs on presenting our Lab capabilities through presentations and face-to-face customer meetings.
- In addition to AC Lab Prime Vendor deals, these CADs will be expanding their scope to include selling into the Independent Reference Lab space.
- Own process for non-formal RFPs and help manage retention of existing deals as they come up for expiration.
- Maintain personal contact with key customers in assigned markets. Secure orders from existing and potential customers through customer facility visits or by phone.
- Develop and implement sales tools and programs; educate and communicate activity and success.

- At least 5 years related experience
- Experience in managing distribution
- Experience preparing business plans to align/support selling strategies
- Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Willing to travel up to 65% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a detail focused, results oriented environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be people-oriented with strong inter-personal skills.
- Proven presentation skills working with high-level executives within customer accounts.
