Job Description:
Corporate Communications Associate We're seeking a social media manager to help us expand our digital footprint and oversee our social communications efforts. They will develop and implement informed content strategies tailored to the strengths of various social media platforms to assist with the strategic growth of the FCB Global social to ultimately increase brand awareness and affinity for FCB Global. The successful candidate will report into the Associate Director, Global Comms & Content and work closely with the wider FCB Global comms team to support activity across owned, earned, and paid opportunities. Job Description
  • Use social media marketing tools to maintain the FCB Global brand and that of its agencies globally.
  • Develop and execute a social strategy for the FCB Global social channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, X), including curating platform specific content relevant for each channel, developing social campaigns for key cultural days, as well as day-to-day community management.
  • Proactively suggest content based on FCB calendar of events and network activity.
  • Liaise with agencies and brief production/design to ensure content production in a timely manner.
  • Establish key performance indicators to understand efficacy of existing social campaigns and platforms and adjust strategy accordingly to ensure further optimization of each channel. Regularly track and communicate how channels are performing with stakeholders and senior management.
  • Connect with employees and departments around the FCB network to build awareness of activities that are happening around the agency and create content accordingly.
  • Communicate global social media strategy with individual agencies and markets and provide ongoing advice and strategic support for their own social media presence and approach.
  • Proactively engage global leadership team and suggest content for their personal channels to amplify occasional agency news, wins, and POVs
  • Assisting the wider FCB Global Comms Team where needed including:
    • Drafting and building the internal bi-weekly newsletter and managing distribution to FCB agencies.
    • Regularly sharing news with FCB holding company, IPG, to keep them informed with activity from the network.
    • Produce monthly social reports to show where the team is succeeding and identify areas to prioritize for improvement.
    • Develop creative ways to merchandize the work the team does externally, internally, and across FCB channels.
    • Proactively engage with the local social leads and build a comprehensive global calendar that every office can work from, bringing everyone alone for the journey.
Key Skills
  • Proven experience of setting and implementing social media and content strategies.
  • Excellent copywriting skills, with experience writing for business audiences across multiple channels and platforms.
  • Be a fantastic collaborator and deliver creative solutions to everyday problems.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and multi-task across a variety of projects. Must show initiative to get things done without the need for constant approvals.
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels and latest social media trends and tools. Experience with social media marketing tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, and MailChimp is preferred, but not essential.
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Photoshop, Adobe Express, and/or Canva.
  • Clear, confident communication skills and ability to manage up.
  • Creative with a good eye for design.
The New York City Pay Transparency Law requires employers in New York City to disclose the following information. The salary range for this position is $45,000-$50,000. Actual salaries will vary and be based on various factors including but not limited to budgetary and market consideration, as well as an applicant's background experience, pertinent/specialty experience, qualifications, and tenure in role/similar role.
