The freedom to pursue new ideas, offer different perspectives, and grow in your career is fundamental to working at Dorman.Job SummaryAs a Corporate Development Intern, you will facilitate the development and execution of Dorman's strategic growth initiatives, including the execution of Mergers & Acquisitions projects.Primary DutiesPerform industry research and interact with external advisors to identify opportunities for growth within existing businesses or expansion into new areasSupport the analysis of potential acquisitions by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, strategic potential, and financial metricsSupport the development of detailed financial models and valuation analyses for potential strategic opportunities or initiativesParticipate in due diligence for potential transactionsPerform additional ad hoc analyses as requiredQualificationsPossess strong quantitative skills and a high level of comfort working with dataStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, especially around data acquisition and deliveryTeam player with strong interpersonal relationship, team building, collaboration, and facilitation skillsExcellent MS Office skills including Excel and PowerPointExcellent communication skills, written and verbalStrong organizational and time management skillsEducation / ExperiencePursuing a Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related fieldsCompletion of coursework in Finance and AccountingExperience performing independent quantitative researchDorman Products is an equal opportunity employer; we value a combination of ideas, perspectives, and cultures at our company.
