Job Description:

The Group Hospitality is a rapidly growing restaurant group, expanding from New York to cities across America. We are seeking an experienced Corporate Executive Chef to oversee the culinary direction and integrity of the concepts, maintaining excellent standards across all restaurants and concepts. The Corporate Executive Chef is responsible for all food operations: creating menus, pricing, planning budgets, supply management, etc. as well as the training and development of culinary staff.

We currently operate 7 restaurants in New York City and 3 nationwide, with more expansion underway. The ideal candidate has multi-unit, national experience, including restaurant openings. Must be classically French trained with a French culinary background.

Essential Functions:

  • Design menus that remain authentic to the brand and concept as well as enhance customers culinary experience while keeping up high quality
  • Ensures profitability through costing all recipes regularly
  • Coordinates and implements the purchasing program
  • Manages relationships with food vendors, driving low cost through purchasing strategy
  • Develops and implements operating standards for the culinary department
  • Manages all Executive Chefs and CDCs in their areas of responsibilities, providing clear and effective directions
  • Promotes and practices safe work habits through training, education, and management, resolving any potential safety hazard
  • Ensures all kitchens uphold Department of Health standard at all times

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years experience as an Executive Chef
  • Must have managed over 50M in revenue sales
  • Must have Multi-Unit experience
  • Must have artisanal butcher chef experience
  • Must have French Cuisine experience
