SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking an Corporate Financial Assistant for its client in Grand Rapids, MI. The individual will support the finance team through data entry, tracking financial information in Excel, and assisting with accounts payable processing. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to handle financial records and ensure accuracy in data processing.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the finance team by entering and maintaining data in Excel, tracking financial information and ensuring data accuracy.
- Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring accurate entry and timely payment of invoices.
- Support the finance team by organizing, updating, and tracking records related to financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and reconcile discrepancies in financial documentation.
- Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary information for processing payments and addressing inquiries.
- Generate reports and track financial data to assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Review financial records and documents for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scheduling, and responding to financial inquiries.
- Perform other duties as required to support the finance department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 1+ year of experience in administrative support, finance, or accounts payable.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to organize and track large amounts of financial data.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving discrepancies or issues.
