Securitization Finance Associate or Counsel

Our client is a global firm, seeking an associate or counsel level attorney with at least 4 years of experience for its U.S. Global Trade Finance practice in New York, Charlotte or Chicago. Other nationwide locations may be considered. This role is primarily focused on trade receivables securitizations with some structured financings involving a range of financial assets. The team focuses on global trade A/R financings, off-balance sheet structuring for GAAP and/or IFRS, intercreditor arrangements, trade credit insurance, and/or ABCP-funding. The salary for this position is between $310,000 to $550,000, depending upon experience and skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of structured finance and securitization experience, focused on lender-side private warehouse and trade receivables financings.
• Capital markets experience is a plus, but not required.
• Strong academic credentials are required.
• State bar admission in jurisdiction of practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong client-interfacing skills.
