Job DescriptionJob Title: Corporate Paralegal, Asset Management and Real Estate Products Responsibilities:
- Entity formation in complex financing structures including for real estate investment products
- Working with real estate and corporate attorneys on investments, acquisitions and REITs
- Corporate governance responsibilities including board and committee minutes & resolutions
- Assisting with SEC filings, and offering material relating to public and private funds and securities offerings
- Coordination with outside counsel
- Contracts and database administration
- Assist with engagement of outside counsel
- Working with board of directors of various business entities, senior management including President, COO and CFO
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Corporate Paralegal from a law firm or in-house environment
- Specific experience with SEC filings, contracts, governance strongly preferred. Asset management experience helpful
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing a variety of transactions and tasks
- Organization skills and follow-through are critical, as well as the ability to maintain strict confidentiality and high ethical standards
- Bachelor's degree
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail are essential
- Strong interpersonal skills
Educational Qualifications:
- Paralegal Certification and/or Bachelor's degree required
Salary: $90,000 - $ 100,000 The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
