Corporate / Transactional Paralegal
Position Overview:
Evolve Workforce Solutions has partnered with a prominent AmLaw 200 firm is seeking a skilled Corporate/Transactional Paralegal to join its Intellectual Property (IP) group. The ideal candidate will have a strong corporate/transactional background and a proven ability to support attorneys in managing complex legal matters. Key Responsibilities:
- Online investigation, research, and due diligence
- Prepare, file, and manage online government filings and completion and tracking of status and correspondence with US and international government agencies
- Draft correspondence and reporting to clients
- Prepare drafts of contracts and legal documents, including licenses and letters
- Prepare, manage, and update status reports
- Project coordination and management among team members
- Participation in development of client presentation materials
- Work with support staff departments and other offices of the firm as well as serve as primary contact for the day-to-day project maintenance
- Conducting research and analysis to support transactional work
- Collaborating with attorneys to ensure the successful completion of client matters
Qualifications:
- BA or BS degree strongly preferred.
- Must be able to work closely as part of a team.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a transactional and/or corporate paralegal. Experience with IP licensing, trademarks and copyrights is a plus.
- Candidates should possess exceptional attention to detail and high-level organizational & time-management skills.
- Proficiency in document drafting and document management preferred.
- Ability to multitask using analytical and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment with competing demands.
