M&A Law Partner
Our client is a major firm, seeking a Partner level attorney for its M&A and Securities Practice Group in New York. The salary for this position is between $800,000 and $1,500,000 per year.
Qualifications
- At least 9 years of international law firm experience in M&A and private equity transactions.
- Experience representing private funds and their portfolio companies in a broad range of matters, including: [1] Preparing and reviewing share and asset purchase, shareholder, and joint venture agreements, and board resolutions; [2] Managing complex legal transactions with multiple parties and negotiating terms on behalf of clients; and [3] Advising clients on laws and regulations related to corporate governance, and regulatory compliance related to business transactions.
- J.D. or foreign equivalent.
- New York bar admission is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
