Job Title – Corporate M&A Partner
Salary/Package - $400,000 - $800,000+ Basic Salary + Package dependent on portable book size/experience
Location – Remote working from anywhere
The Company:
Exceptional Law Firm (based New York) with circa 50 attorneys/$25 million turnover. Fast establishing a reputation as a serious alternative to Big Law both for employees and clients alike. This firm has built relationships with an impressive spectrum of clients including PE/VC capital companies and public firms, covering litigation as well as general counsel and transactional needs.
Responsibilities:
- Representing venture, debt and equity funds; private equity funds; portfolio companies; and public and private corporations.
- Experience in fund formations, private transactions, recapitalizations, mergers and acquisitions and management buy-outs.
- Providing ongoing advice on corporate governance matters
- Representing companies in connection with joint ventures, limited liability companies, partnerships, and other business arrangements.
Candidate Requirements:
- 5 years+ Corporate Law with a focus on Mergers and Acquisitions/Private Equity/Venture Capital work
- $1m - $2m+ portable business
- Team player with a positive, ambitious mentality
