Qualifications:
* Knowledge of PET and HPE plastics required, including specifically PET dryer/return air heat exchangers
* 5+ years of experience performing maintenance on PET injection machines
* Ability to process a PET preforms/HDPE caps on injection machines
* Capable of troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment
* Mastery pf processing/troubleshooting preform/cap mold, including the ability to repair and refurbish
* Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Job Summary:
The Injection Technician is tasked with maintaining preform and cap injection machines throughout the entire company to guarantee a stable supply chain of raw or secondary goods. The
Essential Job Duties:
* Machine Audits/detailed reporting
* Train of plant personnel on all aspects of injection. Primary focus on-the-job training at machine
* Help standardize injection molding preventative maintenance across company
* Tracking of Documentations all machines, preventative maintenance, mold rebuilds, and service work
* Share injection molding best practices/knowledge across all plants
* Follow-ups with plants to ensure all machines are being kept in good conditions
* Will attend in person or virtual on all closing meeting with that plants have with OEM's after service visits
* Position will require a reliable means of travel (accommodations are available where they may apply).
GMP & PPE Required:
While on the production floor in a facility, you will be required to follow and help to enforce all general manufacturing practices (GMP) regulations in the plant. Anyone entering the production floor must follow the GMP rules in their employee handbook, which includes the required hairnets, beard nets, earplugs, safety glasses, welding hoods, etc. consistent with the working area and its conditions. You must follow standard operating procedures including quality checks and procedures for all operations. You must also follow HACCP and SQF requirements for food quality and safety.

Work Environment
This position will require a significant amount (? 80%) of travel and the work will be conducted almost exclusively in a manufacturing environment or on a shop floor. Travel will typically be planned in advance, but same-day travel may be required as needed.
