Job Description:
Position Summary The Corporate PMO will drive consistent and effective project management for the Company's strategic initiatives and projects. This position reports to the PMO Director and is located in downtown Houston, TX. Hybrid work schedule is an option for remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Level and salary commensurate with experience. Essential Job Functions
  • Develop and deploy project management frameworks, methods, and toolkits
  • Trusted partner for corporate leadership, leads by influence at all levels
  • Executive mindset. Thinks at C-level and interacts cross-functionally
  • Organized and pragmatic, manages multiple initiatives with changing priorities
  • Facilitate tracking project status, resourcing, deliverables, and benefits case
  • Provide project management services for critical enterprise projects, including M&A integration.
  • Facilitate project communication and reporting
  • Conduct post project reviews and share continuous improvement insights
  • Lead change management and communication documentation
  • Facilitate and support corporate off-site initiative meetings

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or analytical field
  • 6 years of combined experience in Engineering, Production, Operations, Complex Project Management, or Consulting roles, within the upstream oil & gas industry
  • Effective communicator and presenter, able adjust style and content to field, executive and corporate audiences
  • Ability to deliver results at strategic and tactical levels
  • Relationship builder and team player who is also comfortable working independently
  • Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities while maintaining an eye for detail
  • Able to analyze and visualize data/information, with preference for experience in process mapping, performance assessment, variance analysis, and economic models
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and other common desktop tools, with preference for ability to visualize information using Power BI and Spotfire
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams / projects / people across multiple organizational levels
  • Ability to influence stakeholders to successfully achieve initiative deliverables
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment; flexible with the demands of a growing company
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry files weighing up to 10 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
