Category Project Management Position Corporate Project Manager 24 Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Starting Pay: 68,000/Annually Exempt/Non-Exempt Exempt Number of Openings 1 Description Summary/Objective: This management position will provide leadership and guidance in strategic, technical, and organizational decisions relating to the development, implementation, and management of corporate level business projects. Primary functions will include conducting research, reporting on project development updates, and ensuring strategic, operational, and financial goals remain in line with business plans and projects.Requirements of the Job Include: Specific duties include, but are not limited, to the following:
  • Manage assigned projects to completion while developing a library of background and project documentation to be transitioned and handed off to the general manager when they are hired.
  • Report to leadership no less than monthly on progress of assigned projects, roadblocks, and opportunities.
  • Review existing portfolio of businesses on a regular basis, no less than monthly, and report to the appropriate general manager and leadership of opportunities to increase business short and long term.
  • Evaluate and research potential business opportunities by monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on business trends, while keeping up to date on market trends, current events, publications, and announcements.
  • Build market positioning by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships as set forth in the company's strategic, operational, and financial plans.
  • Assert negotiating strategies and positions by analyzing new venture integrations including potential mergers and/or acquisitions that are in line with company strategies and operational goals.
  • Develop and manage solid relationships with internal and external clients, customers, vendors, distributors, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Research securities of target industries and companies to provide equity investment recommendations.
  • Oversee all aspects of the development process required prior to necessary decision-making; perform SWOT analysis to examine risk potentials for all business opportunities, collect and interpret data, develop, and write reports to pitch logistics.
  • Conduct needs analysis and provide S.M.A.R.T. goal-oriented project outcomes.
  • Oversee and share quality control of numerous projects and/or events.
  • Plan, execute, and finalize multiple projects per schedule and within budget.
  • Coordinate all team members and centers of influence as appropriate.
  • Ensure adherence to procedural, compliance, and other regulatory requirements throughout all project stages and development processes.
  • Develop plans, analyze, and report on fiscal budgets and performance.
  • Utilize excellent written and verbal communication skills to compose professional memos, white papers, business plan proposals, and other project narratives.
  • Actively participate and network with a variety of external business professional and developmental groups and industry specific organizations to increase opportunities for LDF BDC growth and progress.
  • Attentive follow up to maintain project flow to meet deadlines by utilizing GAANT or other high standard reporting system.
  • Responsible for updating corporate calendar and informing staff and leadership with pertinent project information.
  • Stay current with changing technology and participate in applicable educational/training opportunities.

  • Utilize strong financial and analytical skills while reporting and measuring data such as business ratios, markups, P&L margins, and other key indicators.
  • Be flexible and willing to perform multiple functions, manage multiple projects with varying deadlines and mandated reporting structures while working with both corporate officers and frontline personnel.
  • Have a general knowledge of HR functions with a sensitivity to the local community culture.

Supervisory Responsibility: NoneWork Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand, as necessary.Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand and schedules can accommodate.Travel: Some business travel required both in and out of statePosition Requirements Required Education and Experience:
  • Associates in Business Administration, Marketing, or another related field
  • 10 yrs. experience in finance, marketing, management, and quality control.
  • Experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or another related field
Licensing/Registration/Other Requirements:
  • Must have a current and valid Driver's License
  • Must have a Personal Vehicle with Registration and Proof of Insurance that is acceptable according to LDF Business Development Corporations standards.
