Job Description:
Examples of Typical Activities:
  • Execute Global Quality strategies, procedures, structure, and activities to be consistent with and to support the strategies of Evenflo's overall business.
  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of sound quality systems at both the corporate and operations levels.
  • Provide primary Quality oversight for North American juvenile product manufacturing.
  • Lead internal and external root cause/corrective action process.
  • Support for Sr. Director, Quality Assurance to include managing quality issues (assessment, investigation, decision-making), resolving quality issues (CAPA, SCAR), and internal and external communications in all regions.
  • Conduct internal/external performance evaluation and report metrics (including annual Management Review).
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within the Quality Management System, make recommendations, facilitate implementation, and share lessons learned within the organization.
  • Coordinate Quality commercial support (information requests, responses).
Required Experience BS Degree in technical field required; 10 - 15 years of experience in manufacturing quality with supervisory responsibilities.Preferred experience with Juvenile products.Required Technical Competencies
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Project Management Skills - ability to follow project plans and meet key milestones on time
  • Computer Skills (Microsoft Office Suite); experience with artificial intelligence (AI) preferred
  • Knowledge of manufacturing: injection molding and plastics
  • Experience with Quality Disciplines -
    • Hands on manufacturing experience
    • Knowledge of quality systems
    • Root Cause analysis and corrective action
    • Ability to write procedures and standards
  • Experience with ASTM standards and federal, state regulations beneficial
