As a member of our team, you will be responsible for handling a variety of legal matters related to corporate real estate, including loan documentation, operating agreements, governance, regulatory compliance, vendor contracts, leasing, and due diligence. If you are looking to grow your practice with a team of specialized attorneys and have 5+ years of experience, we want to talk to you!Key Responsibilities- Review and draft loan documentation, operating agreements, and other legal documents- Provide legal advice and guidance on corporate real estate matters to internal stakeholders, including executives, management, and other departments- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and corporate policies related to real estate transactions- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts- Conduct due diligence on potential investments and transactions- Review and negotiate lease agreements for commercial properties- Advise on governance matters related to corporate real estate, including corporate structure and compliance issues- Stay up to date on industry trends and changes in real estate law and regulationsQualifications- Juris Doctor (JD)- Active license to practice in New York- 5+ years of experience in corporate real estate law- Understanding of loan documentation, operating agreements, and other legal documents- Experience with governance and regulatory compliance- Ability to work independently and in a team environment- Experience with vendor contracts and lease agreements- Knowledge of due diligence processes and procedures- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively- A portable book of business is a big plus!We offer a competitive salary starting at $160,000/year, and benefits package, along with a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
