BEST Logistics Group is now hiring for a Corporate Recruiter, who will work closely with our Director of Talent & Human Resources to source, identify, and place exceptional candidates in exciting opportunities here at BEST, in support of our continued growth! The Corporate Recruiter will be responsible for using different niche channels, social media outlets, sourcing sites, and grassroots recruiting efforts to attract potential talent. Integrity, a positive attitude, creativity, a strong work ethic, and collaboration will be keys success in this role.Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with hiring managers to determine recruitment needs and develop a hiring strategy for each role. This will includes roles such as account managers, dispatchers, freight brokers, customer service representatives, administrative personnel, diesel technicians, CDL instructors, CDL drivers, warehouse personnel, and more.
  • Identify, attract and source hard-to-find active and passive talent using different niche sites/channels such as LinkedIn and other social media
  • Prepare job descriptions, manage postings on BEST's career website as well as other relevant posting websites
  • Manage all aspects of the recruitment process including pre-screening, on-site interviews, reference checks, and offers.
  • Update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), coordinate background verifications aligned with company processes and manage all follow-up communications
  • Prepare and process hiring documentation in collaboration with the Human Resources department. Will also handle associate onboarding processes, and will be cross-trained to assist with driver onboarding tasks on an as-needed basis.
  • Maintain and promote company policies and procedures pertaining to the recruitment process established
  • Research and participate in the most relevant career fairs, local job fairs and professional events to support the BEST brand and growth plan
  • Implement brand confidence and retention practices amongst newly recruited talent
  • Continually identify new opportunities for key process improvement initiatives that help improve the recruiting strategy at BEST
  • Knowledge of hiring within the logistics & transportation industry is a plus; 5+ years of experience in a corporate recruiting or talent acquisition role
  • Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Microsoft office suite; Word / Excel / Outlook / Teams
  • Proven track record of sourcing and landing top talent in a competitive market
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are a must
  • Should be strategic, dynamic, enthusiastic, and quick to take initiative.
