Location: Somerset, NJ (must be open to work from office 4-5 days per week)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced HR Support Specialist who will handle corporate talent acquisition along with other HR and Staffing Operations responsibilities.

You will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR and Staffing Operations support to designated business units while also managing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities for the organization. The successful candidate will have a strong experience working for a Staffing company in HR Operations, including strong experience in talent sourcing, attraction and retention processes.

Talent Acquisition responsibilities:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and presenting qualified candidates for companys internal jobs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and provide guidance on effective hiring strategies.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, such as job boards, social media platforms like LinkedIn, networking events, and employee referrals, to attract top talent.
  • Conduct phone and in-person interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Extend job offers to selected candidates, negotiate salary and benefits, and facilitate the onboarding process including completion of I-9 and W-4 paperwork.
  • Develop and maintain metrics and reports to track recruitment activities, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate satisfaction.
  • In-charge for employee satisfaction, engagement and retention. Identify training needs and facilitating learning and development programs

HR Operations Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR guidance and support to various divisions as a strategic partner.
  • Develop and implement HR programs, policies, and initiatives aligned with the organization's goals and values.
  • Support various marketing and employment branding activities for the company
  • Proactively identify HR needs and recommend appropriate solutions, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Manage employee and contractors relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, diversity and inclusion programs, etc.
  • Manage payroll, benefits administration, insurance coverage
  • Manage contractor timesheets
  • In-charge of basic finance related activities including client invoicing, accounts receivables and payables, and collections
  • Participate in contracts negotiation and vendor management

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is good to have but not required.
  • Proven experience as an HR or Staffing Operations Specialist or HR Generalist or in a similar HR role, with a solid understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Extensive experience working with a Staffing or Consulting Services company in HR Operations area.
  • Solid experience with end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software applications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Candidate must be willing to work from our Somerset, NJ offices at least 4 days per week.
