All while understanding that together we are even better.Schedule: Monday - FridayLocation: 2600 Westhall Lane, Maitland, FL 32751The community you'll be caring for:+ Join a team that provides exceptional patient-based care.+ Collaborative teams that work together for a common goal+ Compassionate and supportive leaders ensure work life balance for team members and providers without compromising patient care.The role you'll contribute:+ Assists in the ongoing development and implementation of the Corporate Responsibility program to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.+ Assists department with ongoing risk assessments, review of policies, procedures, training programs, etc.+ Assists department in completion of annual monitoring and auditing workplan as well development of corrective action plans resulting from findings.+ Works independently to investigate compliance and/or privacy complaints and concerns (reports of potential non-compliance) submitted by AdventHealth workforce members and AdventHealth patients via all reporting methods.+ Conducts research (research and analysis of federal and state laws and regulations, compliance guidance, industry publications, etc.) and synthesizes information for leadership.+ Assists in the development and implementation of key education and training initiatives.+ Assumes responsibility for professional growth and development, including attendance at educational offerings to remain current in area of expertise.+ Other responsibilities as assigned.The value you'll bring to the team:The Manager of Corporate Responsibility supports the AdventHealth Corporate Responsibility department, which functions as an independent and objective body that reviews, promotes and evaluates compliance and privacy issues and concerns within the organizationThe expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:Minimum qualifications:+ Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field.+ Minimum 5 years documented work experience in healthcare compliance or a related field.Preferred experience:+ Certified Professional Coder (CPC)+ Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS)+ Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)+ Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)+ Certified Healthcare Compliance (CHC),This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
