OVERVIEW: The Kannapolis Cannon Ballers are a Single-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox and a member of the Carolina League. The Corporate Sales Manager will play a vital role in building and capitalizing on the momentum of our franchise, while continually building relationships and laying the foundation for long-term success. Ideal candidates will have a focus on customer service and salesmanship, while naturally applying core values of imagination, enthusiasm, and self-confidence. This role will report to Temerity Baseball's Chief Revenue Officer and Cannon Ballers General Manager.JOB TYPE: Status: Full-Time / Salary & Benefits (Medical/Dental/Vision Coverage)Hours: October-March: Normal business hours with supplemental engagement at community and special events April-September: Flexibility to work additional nights and weekends beyond normal business hoursPOSITION SUMMARY:The Corporate Sales Manager is primarily responsible for assisting the corporate sponsorship team with high-volume outbound sales efforts, game day duties, partnership reports, and event coordination.RESPONSIBILITIES:Outbound sales efforts for advertising and corporate partnerships for Cannon Ballers Games and additional special events.This includes daily phone calls, emails, and setting up face-to-face meetings with current and prospective clients.Assist the Corporate Partnerships Activation Team with generating partner recap reports. Work events to assist the department with game day responsibilities. Assist with game day setup, activation, and high-level customer service. Coordinate partner-related assets and schedules with other department members.Work with the marketing team to provide high-level customer service and visibility to all corporate partners.QUALIFICATIONS:Required - Minimum (2) years of previous sales experience Preferred - Minimum (2) years of corporate partnership activation experiencePreferred - Experience in Minor League Baseball or other professional sports Preferred - Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited university or collegeOutstanding communication skills, both written and oral, are essential for interactions with clients, operational leaders, and other senior executives Demonstrated professional sales presentation skills Must be able to work evenings and weekends, as required TRAINING: All team members within the Cannon Ballers Sales Department are provided with ongoing and comprehensive training.
