Summary:
The Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations will be responsible for leading and overseeing key aspects of clinical operations for the company. This role will require strategic leadership, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of healthcare processes and service line development. The successful candidate will drive the formulation and execution of clinical development plans, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of high-quality healthcare services. The position reports directly to the President of Clinical Operations and Chief Medical Officer of CHS.
This is an on-site role and will be located at our corporate office in Franklin, TN.
Responsibilities:
* Strategic Leadership:
* Develop and execute the overall clinical development strategy in partnership with business development and operations partners in a manner that aligns with the company's objectives.
* Identify and evaluate new clinical development opportunities, including innovative care delivery designs and technologies.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of clinical operations with other areas, such as business operations, financial operations, regulatory affairs, quality and business development.
* Patient Outcomes, Operational Excellence, and Financial Discipline:
* Oversee the planning, execution, monitoring, and ongoing development of key clinical service lines, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and quality standards.
* Enhance safety, quality and clinical excellence in collaboration with other subject matter experts to develop, promote and implement evidence-based practices demonstrated to improve patient outcomes and enhance operational performance.
* Implement robust quality management systems to ensure data integrity and support continuous improvement.
* Effectively utilize performance improvement methods to achieve patient outcomes, operational excellence and financial discipline for key clinical areas in the company.
* Team Leadership:
* Build, develop, and lead high-performing teams of professionals in clinical operations.
* Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
* Provide mentorship and coaching to team members, promoting professional growth and development.
* Safety & Regulatory Compliance:
* Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
* MD or DO required
* Extensive experience in clinical operations, with 10 years of healthcare experience
* Prior experience as Chief Medical Officer, Clinical Officer or large Service Line leader
* Masters Degree in business, hospital administration, public health or other similar degree
* Experience in large Regional or National Healthcare System preferred
