We seek an energetic, self-motivated Social Media Content & Engagement Specialist to support the marketing effort through written and visual content creation, effective engagement tactics, employee profile audits, executive social media coaching and analytics.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Develop and manage B. Riley's social media identity.

* Regularly audit company accounts and profiles, as well as executive team profiles, to ensure accuracy of information and brand consistency. Provide assets, content and coaching to executive team, as needed.

* Manage the team's social media content calendar.

* Create written and visual content and execute social media campaigns across multiple platforms to support key business objectives and to represent the sophistication and diversity of our colleagues and capabilities.

* Increase overall social media engagement, internally (with employees) and externally.

* Interact with and, when appropriate, amplify the activities of our clients and partners via our social media accounts.

* Set social media KPIs; track and report performance. Monitor social media trends, capabilities, and our competitors to make strategic recommendations.

Job Requirements:

* BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations.

* 3+ years social media marketing experience for a financial services, consulting or law firm. Experience with a public company and operating in a regulatory environment preferred.

* Proven hands-on work experience with LinkedIn and X (formerly Twitter). Facebook, Instagram and others a plus.

* Excellent writing, editing (text/photo/video), consulting, presentation and communication skills.

* Strong understanding of social media metrics, with the ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.

* Superb organizational, time management and multitasking skills.
