The Sr. Specialist will ensure all stores and providers are set up accurately and maintained in our internal database. The Sr Specialist will also deliver provider & store education, as well as resolution of escalated issues. The Sr. Specialist will collaborate with various internal and external business partners to track, report, and identify opportunities that create simplicity and drive business initiatives while maintaining compliance with corporate guidelines, ensuring ongoing alignment with performance metrics. The Sr. Specialist will provide meaningful feedback for quality assurance and operational process improvements to leadership.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage new store & provider data to track, maintain, and update new store set-up. Communicating with the retail brands, the Fleet Management team, and vision insurance carriers to ensure data is accurate to support smooth openings for retail stores.
  • Manage new store-activity tracker, brand reference sheets, and updated information all communicated timely to the brands.
  • Act as liaison to the EyeCare team to coordinate Assignment related OD communications and assist with escalated issues related to Assignment
  • Interact with providers to answer credentialing questions, withhold disputes, payment and escalated issues
  • Deliver store training to educate store employees on Assignment processes
  • Maintain strong relationship with vision insurance carriers, retail brands and the Call Center, resolving escalated member concerns, credentialing issues, plan benefit clarification and claim research
  • Participate on the Assignment Migration Project (AMP), representing provider relations as it relates to provider set up in Facets.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ year of experience in operations type role
  • Experience in provider relations, contract / provider onboarding, & credentialing
  • Experience in Facets and AS400
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving, analysis and issue resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple assignments, establish priorities, and demonstrate excellent time management skills
  • Demonstrate thorough critical thinking skills to solidify understanding of bigger picture
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-driven desire to drive initiatives
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in optical, insurance or corporate related field
