Associate, Strategic Consulting
Through three functions-Strategic Consulting, Corporate Development, and Competitive Intelligence - the Corporate Strategy & Development (CS&D) team helps TIAA address its most important strategic questions. The team was created in 2010 to provide objective advice to senior executives and to serve as a source of high potential talent to TIAA.
The Associate supports strategic consulting projects in a variety of ways, including conducting interviews with internal clients, forming sophisticated hypotheses, designing, and conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses, synthesizing insights into recommendations, and executing strategic initiatives. The Associate will work both independently and in close coordination with other members of CS&D, business units, strategy, and marketing organizations.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and internal clients, and is also involved with presentations to internal clients
* Support engagement teams in the identification, understanding and framing of complex business problems and needs
* Support in the evaluation, advanced planning, analysis, solution development and execution for engagements
* Mentor/manage analysts
Educational Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience Required
Work Experience
* 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred

Base Pay Range: $112,500/yr. - $165,000/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
