Role Purpose:
Provide deep technical expertise, guidance, and leadership in the design, implementation, and optimization of automation systems and controls within the organization. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective and efficient operation of automation systems, driving continuous improvement, innovation, and compliance with industry standards.
Accountabilities & Impact:
* Provide expert guidance on the design, development, and implementation of automation and control systems.
* Lead and manage automation projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
* Write job plans to support an evolving Total Productive Maintenance system
* Collaborates with operations, engineering, maintenance, and quality to improve safety, quality, and throughput in the plants.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for all matters related to automation and controls.
* Lead the design, configuration, and commissioning of automation systems, including PLCs, SCADA, HMI, DCS, and robotics.
Skills & Experiences Needed:
* Bachelor's Degree.
* 10+ years of experience in industrial automation of Food & Beverage including brewing, packaging, and utilities.
* Must have process and high speed manufacturing experience.
* Proven technical leadership skills.
* Ability to independently lead and execute complex automation projects, provide support to the organization and day to day technology technical leadership.
