The corporate treasury and asset accountant is responsible for monitoring corporate bank and asset accounts and tracking expenditures to ensure proper classification.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities:
* Reconcile Bank accounts, maintain deposits, perform daily oversight of transactions for several bank accounts, real estate holding accounts
* Monitor and regulate daily ACH transactions
* Manage new store setup for all payment acceptance types, funds order, and store setup
* Maintain and track lease schedules both related and 3rd party, monitor and collect 3rd party tenant rent
* Monitor and report cash position daily/weekly
* Coordinate and monitor all daily bank activity
* Monitor acquisitions and disposals of fixed assets
* Review, investigate/correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports
* Prepare other various monthly account reconciliations which may include receivables, payables, accrued expenses, and other accounts
* Other special projects, reports, tasks, and financial assessments as assigned by the Corporate Accounting Manager or Senior Management
* Maintain working knowledge of control policies and procedures as established by the company and required to be followed by all locations
* Maintain confidentiality of all company information, is forthcoming in reporting all policy and procedural violations and any wrongdoing to the Director of Human Resources
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Comfortable working with multiple software platforms and automated accounting systems
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with master proficiency in Excel preferred
* Must possess strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
* Ability to research complex issues and implement solutions on an independent basis
EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS
Required:
* BA/BS in Accounting
* 3+ year experience in business environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
* Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
* Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
