We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Client Service I to join our Cross Border Structured / Conventional Debt Corporate Trust team. This role is a hybrid work schedule (3 days a week in office), based out of New York City, NY - Jersey City, NJ, or the Pittsburgh, PA office.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Works with external clients to resolve the most complex day-to-day issues and direct them to appropriate resources, while resolving a-typical issues
* Leads team members in providing support to major clients whose partnership with BNY may have a broad impact on the business in addressing and resolving complex operational and technical issues and ensuring requests are executed or escalate to management as appropriate
* Applies advanced problem-solving skills, judgement, and extensive experience to analyze information
* Uses masterful communication skills to deliver high quality service to a specialized client base
* Provides key individuals at assigned clients information related to BNY products and services representing a broad array of lines of business and geographies and leverages an expert understanding of broader BNY services and offering
* Uses extensive knowledge of client issues and needs to lead business development efforts
* Uses expert understanding of BNY products and services to best propose expanded offerings to clients for front office consideration and to lead the development of process improvements
* No direct reports, but will provide guidance to less experienced team members, while supporting multiple complex client accounts
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
* Bachelor's degree or the equivalent
* 5-7 years within the Corporate Trust/Issuer Services sector
* Capital Markets debt issuance experience, particularly clearing and settlement services for securities and money market instruments within the U.S. and EMEA clearing systems
* Familiarity with governing contracts for Corporate Trust products is preferred

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $80,000 and $120,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
