Join us and play a vital role in making New York Life a destination employer for generations to come.The Talent Management Practices & Employee Listening team at New York Life helps drive the critical business outcome of employee engagement through progressive, value-added talent management processes that maximize employee potential as well as through a comprehensive listening program that ensures the successful delivery of our employee value proposition to all our employees.Role Overview:New York Life is looking for an Employee Listening & Experience Lead to help us ensure our company is delivering on our employee value proposition and driving a world-class experience through our employee practices and processes. In this role, you will engage with various stakeholders across the business to design and lead journey mapping focus groups and workshops, and work with experience owners across the business to develop pragmatic activation plans that enhance the employee experience and drive business outcomes.What You'll Do:
  • Define EX - Design and lead execution of focus groups, structured interviews, workshops, and other interactive techniques to gather a deeper understanding of pain points in the employee experience.
  • Illustrate EX - Translate experiential findings and commentary into journey maps, employee personas, and other visualizations of the employee experience.
  • Activate EX - Distill EX research into proposals and data-driven presentations that demonstrate the benefit of various employee experience (EX) initiatives and influence experience owners in HR and across the business.
  • Advise EX - Research and stay current on the latest employee experience strategies to devise fresh approaches to uncovering insights and actionable results.What You'll Bring:
  • BA/BS degree from a four-year accredited university with specialized training in human-centered design, market research, or similar disciplines.
  • 5+ years of experience in consulting, customer experience, or employee experience roles.
  • Expertise in structuring and facilitating small-to-medium size group meetings for data/insight collection.
  • Ability to coordinate and influence various stakeholders with excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Strong data visualization skills and the ability to create visually engaging presentations and proposals.
  • Passionate about experience management - reads, researches and stays current in trends and innovations in the area, and is willing to speak internally and externally on behalf of NYL.Pay TransparencySalary Range: $117,500-$200,000 Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
