Under direct supervision of the Director of Correspondence, inputs all incoming Gubernatorial correspondence to the Intertrac database and answers Citizens Assistance Phone Line.
Duties:
- Sort incoming mail delivered thrice-daily to the ECO office
- Scan, input, and route all incoming Gubernatorial correspondence, as assigned by the Director
- Perform related duties as necessary
- Answer Citizen Services phone line between 9AM-5PM
- Tally and log constituents issues, opinions, and/or contact information in Intertrac for inclusion in the Weekly Correspondence Report
- Provide weekly reports of all incoming calls
- Route callers to the appropriate Chamber staff or agency
- Refer constituents with difficult or unclear issues to the Director of Correspondence processing for handling
- Maintain a familiarity with state agency roles, functions, and responsibilities, as well as with current issues and events
- Assist as a backup for Proclamations Office Admin
- Prepare and distribute accordingly all request for Governors Pen Certificates for passed legislation requested by all Elected Officials
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills
- Customer Service experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least two years of experience in an office setting.
