Job Description:

Under direct supervision of the Director of Correspondence, inputs all incoming Gubernatorial correspondence to the Intertrac database and answers Citizens Assistance Phone Line.

Duties:

  • Sort incoming mail delivered thrice-daily to the ECO office
  • Scan, input, and route all incoming Gubernatorial correspondence, as assigned by the Director
  • Perform related duties as necessary
  • Answer Citizen Services phone line between 9AM-5PM
  • Tally and log constituents issues, opinions, and/or contact information in Intertrac for inclusion in the Weekly Correspondence Report
  • Provide weekly reports of all incoming calls
  • Route callers to the appropriate Chamber staff or agency
  • Refer constituents with difficult or unclear issues to the Director of Correspondence processing for handling
  • Maintain a familiarity with state agency roles, functions, and responsibilities, as well as with current issues and events
  • Assist as a backup for Proclamations Office Admin
  • Prepare and distribute accordingly all request for Governors Pen Certificates for passed legislation requested by all Elected Officials
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Customer Service experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least two years of experience in an office setting.
