ob Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to oversee and manage industrial construction projects, while also supporting our commercial projects as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to lead diverse teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage industrial construction projects from conception through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Oversee commercial construction projects as required, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets; monitor progress and adjust as necessary to achieve project objectives.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and address any issues that arise.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and proposed solutions.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and payment applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Foster a positive team environment, mentoring junior staff and promoting best practices in project management and safety.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within industrial construction; experience in commercial construction is a plus.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- PMP certification is a plus.
