This role is essential in analyzing and optimizing cost structures, overseeing inventory processes, and driving operational efficiency to support strategic business goals.Client DetailsThe Cost Accountant will play a key role in managing product costing, standard cost updates, and inventory reconciliation while ensuring accurate financial reporting.   • Develop and maintain product cost models, ensuring accurate standard cost updates.
  • Analyze production costs, material usage, and overhead allocations to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Manage inventory valuation, reconciliation, and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure accurate reporting and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare detailed cost reports to support month-end and year-end closing.
  • Assist with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis related to cost and inventory performance.
  • Implement and improve internal controls for cost accounting and inventory processes.
  • Provide actionable insights to leadership for cost reduction and operational efficiency.Profile
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • 3-5 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or a similar environment.
    • Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Knowledge of GAAP and standard costing principles.
